～Though this book is sequel to SIN IS THE NEW LOVE,it can be read as standalone too. In the previous book Abhimanyu & Ahi unravels the mystery behind the death of Devang Awasthi who is a member of syndicate. Syndicate is a group of biggies,who does illegal business without getting their hands dirty. Abhimanyu,lured by power helps them, only to become a devasted DCP of Noida. Ahi is dead & he survives on drugs. Later,he comes across a case where Shanaya, a successful business woman is murdered. Vayu,IPS officer, appointed as back up for Abhimanyu works on the case. While Vayu is indulged in cracking it,Abhimanyu is keen on killing the assassinates of Ahi.

～Shanaya,is murdered a day after her bday in a luxurious hotel. Her friend, Jignesh,arranges a get-together party on her bday to flaunt his riches. But what happens the next morning,is something no one expects. While investigating her case,Vayu discovers many unknown things about Shanaya.

～This book speaks alot about human psychology & sensitive topics. With every passing chapter,I was amazed by the deep conversations among the characters that are very reasonable & sensible. The story is a bit filmy with slow & steady narration. I commend the author for his erudite writing. After reading SIN IS THE NEW LOVE,I am keen to know what happens with Ahi & Abhimanyu. But,it turned out to be wholly a different story with tiny specks of prequel characters. The author has instilled new characters that are bound to be merged with the prequel,while Shanaya’s story is another case which intrigues the readers. So,there will be a sequel which might make this a trilogy. There are chapters which talk about Sexuality. If you aren’t comfortable with this, you can skip it.

～The comprehensible way of writing is something that grabs my attention. Thriller stories tells alot about psychology. But, making the readers vibe with it,leaving a rational mind behind is very appreciative. The author has done a good job in it. Recommended!!

📝Ahi is a resolute & bong girl from Kolkata. She is the only daughter of DGP Dhritiman Chatterjee. Leaving behind the lucrative jobs she was offered, she chose to follow her dreams & started her own Publishing House. Everything is perfect untill she received a manuscript from a famous & her favourite author, also a doctor, Devang Awasthi, two months after his death. Devang is the narrator of manuscript. He shares his minute of emotions,love,sex,abuse & violence. Hell-bent on publishing it, Avi leaves for Delhi to go with the legal procedures. There she encounters something she never imagined. She is stupified when truth unravels infront of her eyes.

👮🏻‍♂️Abhimanyu is the filmy Police officer who investigates Devang Awasthi’s case. Avi happens to meet him in the most uneventful manner.

📃This is a psychological thriller which leaves no stone unturned to amaze the readers. The story kicked off with a thrilling manuscript that is so captivating. This manuscript has some in-depth feelings. I have to praise the author for his research & knowledge he shared in it. There are other intriguing characters in the story. I don’t want to mention them as it might be a spoiler. While nearing the end, one can guess the climax but, the plethora of thrills which you experience from the beginning keeps us glued to the story. And then, the author ends it with a cliffhanger, leaving the readers longing for the next book.This story is a perfect blend of suspense, love, psychology & emotions.

📜The narration is A1 and comprehensible. The title is noteworthy,but,one needs to contemplate to find it’s relativity to the story. To the ones who love thrillers,I highly recommend this!
